| Description: | Bowman Manufacturing has been a leader in the chemical application equipment industry since 1973. Morris Bowman, the Company’s founder and former President of the Arkansas Farm Bureau Federation, was an active farmer at that time and got his inspiration for manufacturing chemical application equipment from his own farm’s needs. That founding force is still alive today, as David, Donald, and Roger Bowman now own the Company and continue to farm approximately 7,500 acres of rice and soybeans. Our 35,000 square foot production facility is located adjacent to the Bowman Family farm near Newport, Arkansas. Our product line includes high quality, economical spraying and wicking equipment, designed by farmers, for farmers. We specialize in equipment designed for the rice producer, like the Bowman MudMaster 4WD multi-purpose sprayer. The MudMaster was designed to operate in the toughest conditions known to agriculture - the rice field! With its dependable turbo diesel engine, articulating and pivoting center hinge, and hydrostatic four wheel drive propulsion, the MudMaster will power through the roughest mud and over the tallest levees, while keeping all four wheels firmly planted on the ground. The MudMaster’s 7.2 x 30 inch tires yield a generous ground clearance of 44.5 inches and adjustable wheel spacing from 75 to 99 inches. With its wide assortment of optional attachments, the MudMaster is a tool that can be used year-round. Our goal is to build “quality proven” products by field testing all designs on our own farming operation. We are constantly seeking new and better products and welcome suggestions from our dealers and end customers.
